Our Blueberries

We offer a variety of three different blueberries. All of which were released by the University of Florida between 2007 to 2013.

U-pick is typically available between the months of March through May depending on each year’s growth rates.

Throughout u-pick season the farm is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm. During this time you can order pre-picked or frozen berries here on our website. You will also be able to find us at Haile farmer’s market and Alachua County farmer’s market!

  • Farthing

‘Farthing’ berries are usually medium in size. Their texture is firm, almost crisp. They have good flavor with a sweetness that would land mid-scale compared to other blueberry types. Berry color is darker than average. (US Plant Patent 19,341) Source

  • Meadowlark

‘Meadowlark’ berries are large to medium-large, and berry clusters are loose and easy to harvest. They have a mild flavor and are somewhat darker than average. The berries have a tendency for red or purple color to persist at the stem end while the rest of the berry is fully blue. Berry firmness is very good. (US Plant Patent 21,553) Source

  • Indigocrisp

‘Indigocrisp’ berries are very firm with a crisp texture and large in size. Their color tends to stick in the range of medium blue. These berries have a very high sugar to acid ratio making them very sweet. (US Plant Patent 26,523) Source
